Terminal de Contenedores de Valparaíso, TCVAL

Valparaíso is growing along with its Port Valparaíso is growing along with its Port

Letter from our Chief Executive Officer

This terminal’s modernization and expansion means two new berthing sites, which will increase the terminal’s cargo transfer capacity to 1,000,000 TEU / year with 725 meters of berthing line more than 16 m in depth, as well as backup areas in the coastal sector, boosting the operating conditions of the current pier (current Sites 6, 7 and 8), which will continue operating under our administration.

Doubling the Port’s cargo transfer capacity will boost Valparaíso’s economy with more opportunities for our city to grow. The economic recovery, the generation of direct and indirect jobs, the process of carrying out social projects in conjunction with the community, the commitment to responsible management with the environment as well as providing added drive to business endeavors with merchants, hotels and restaurants are all aspects comprising an integral part of the project.

Our experience is backed by ALEATICA, in whose management the implementation of innovations is superior in each one of their projects, taking on challenges at the highest technological level sustainable for their performance.

Special mention must be made of TCVAL’s team of port operations professionals whose objective is aimed at achieving the highest standards of management in each one of the areas in which they work in order to provide you with efficient, profitable solutions at the commercial level and add to the sector as a reference point in business and operations.
